And finally... The album is here! What a year this has been. For some, it's been eventful. For others, it's been traumatic. But for me, it has been musical. Hands Up! is the sum total of most of what I wanted to say. A kaleidoscope of all sorts! A seamless, gapless experience comprising 14 sections. They could be called songs, but really none of them is quite complete without the rest. This is a 47-minute journey through troubles, strife, the modern world, and of course, love. Not to mention striving, positivity, and, er, parakeets! Hands Up! is not a genre. It doesn't pick one particular style and roll with it. Because that's just not what life is like. It covers alternative, pop, soul, rock, orchestral, ballad, electronic, hip-hop, prog, funk and more! Yet it somehow always manages to sound like CC (that's me). Enjoy the journey!
