Some of you may not know this, but I have been writing weekly single reviews for other budding artists for a few months, called Connolly's Corner. They seem to be going down rather well, as I do it a little differently. What I attempt is to create an image or scene; a feeling or vision. This is all for a wonderful organisation called the New Artist Spotlight (I created and designed their website too) founded by Ed Eagle. Its goal is to help artists achieve popularity, streams, recognition, and to generally bring unsigned artists together as a unified force to reach the top. It is ultimate support, and entirely free.
As to these reviews of mine, I was given a week off, for the very reason that I had a new single released. My colleague thought it a rather lovely idea for him to review my song, for a change. We are both quite wordy people, so I knew this would be a professional review. I also knew it would be honest - he wouldn't have offered otherwise...! Pancham be his name - an artist in his own right. He rather wittily decided to call it Pancham's Polygon. Please do take a few minutes to read this, as it is just so beautifully written and actually made me a little teary-eyed. If you have the time, I would very much appreciate you having a read of my previous reviews of other artists' work too. I am sure you will like them as they do have quite a dreamlike, immersive and visually seductive quality to them.
